Our Mission
To improve how social programmes are designed, implemented and scaled by combining evidence, partnerships, technology, strong governance and continuous learning.

Viaana Foundation was established on the belief that lasting change begins with opportunity. Our journey started through grassroots efforts to support education, strengthen communities, and improve quality of life for underserved families. From educational initiatives and support for children with disabilities to contributing towards housing security for hundreds of families in Rajasthan, we have witnessed the transformative power of access, dignity, and empowerment.
Why Viaana
Viaana exists to help close the gap between intent and execution.
Some of India’s hardest social challenges are not caused by a lack of intent. They are shaped by the gap between intent and execution.
India has significant public programmes, CSR investment, philanthropic capital, practitioner expertise and community knowledge. Yet outcomes can still fall short when local barriers are poorly understood, implementation is fragmented, stakeholders work in silos, or learning is not systematically captured and applied.
Viaana exists to help close this gap.
We combine evidence, partnerships, technology, governance and continuous learning to strengthen how social programmes are designed, implemented and scaled.
To improve how social programmes are designed, implemented and scaled by combining evidence, partnerships, technology, strong governance and continuous learning.
To build a trusted institution whose implementation models, tools and knowledge help organisations deliver better social outcomes at scale.
What should remain true as Viaana grows
Trust and responsible stewardship come before speed.
We seek to understand what works before expanding it.
Funding should follow the problem, not define it.
We work with organisations that bring expertise we do not need to recreate.
Effective implementation responds to local realities rather than assuming one model fits everywhere.
We optimise for durable impact, not activity for its own sake.
For years, I worked in large organisations where I saw how often good strategy could fall short because of execution.
At the same time, social impact had always been personal to me — supporting students, families and community initiatives over the years.
What stayed with me was a simple question:
What happens after the help reaches someone?
Does it actually solve the problem? Does it create the outcome we hoped for? And if it doesn’t, do we understand why?
That question became the starting point for Viaana.
I want Viaana to build a repeatable way of understanding what gets in the way of impact, testing practical solutions, learning from what works — and what doesn’t — and turning that learning into models that can work beyond one programme or community.
My hope is simple: to help good intent translate into better outcomes, more consistently and at scale.
Complex social problems are rarely solved by one organisation alone.
Viaana works with governments, practitioners, CSR teams, philanthropies, academics and technical experts to improve how social impact is designed and delivered.
